This project involved designing an experiment to record and analyze the force dissipation properties of various 6"x6" test samples, including ballistic clay, Kevlar, Polyethylene, and polymer-treated Kevlar fabrics. I have successfully designed the experiment and obtained consistent data, and am currently working on automating the analysis of the data using a Matlab script. This has proven to be the most time-intensive part of the experiment, as it involves cleaning and analyzing both image processing data from the Phantom camera and force readings from the PCB piezotronics force sensor 208c03."
